Born November 2, 1898 in Moab to Charles William and Persia Viola Roberson McConkie.

Married Thora Harvey on April 5, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; she died November 28, 1987.

Active member of the LDS Church, served two missions, and was a Sunday School teacher.

Survived by daughters, Iris and husband, Shardon Morrill, Logan; Carol and husband, Junior Betts, Roosevelt; and MaryAnn and husband, Robert Murphy, of Ogden; two sons, George and wife, Lynn McConkie, Vernal; and Bruce H. McConkie, California; forty-four grandchildren, 150 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ethel Goodrich, Roosevelt; and Edith Goodrich, Bountiful; and brother, George McConkie, Vernal. Preceded in death by a son, Charles Mack; a daughter, Beth Gunderson; and a grandson, Duane McConkie.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 1991 at 12:00 p.m. in the Tridell Ward Chapel, Tridell, where friends may call prior to the services from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Burial: Tridell Cemetery.
