Mrs. Guy (Mary) P. Combs, 64, of Route 1, Morelock Rd. in Morristown, died Monday night in Ft. Sanders Hospital in Knoxville. She was a member of the Morristown Church of Christ and was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Gladys Nicholson Purkey.
Survivors include her husband Guy Combs of Morristown; son Marvin W. combs of Bulls Gap; daughter Judy Royston of Morristown; brothers Charles Purkey of Los angeles, Calif. and Powell Purkey of Morristown; sisters Mrs. Ruth Thompson of White Pine, Edith Johns of Morristown and June Thomason of Russellville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stetzer Funeral Home in Morristown with Minister Benny Burns officiating. Burial will be in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home.
