Basil Adams, next to the oldest son of Mr and Mrs Chas. Adams died at the home of his parents Tuesday morning of Spanish influenza. The news came as a shock to the entire community, as few knew that he was sick. Only last Friday he was in town but was not feeling well. Obituary will be found in these columns next week.

Basil Edward Adams
Son of Charles and Beulah Adams was born in Hamilton county, Nebraska, on October 6th, 1901. Departed this life at the home of his parents near Marquette on the 15th day of October 1918, aged 17 years and 9 days. Short funeral services were held at the house by Rev I G Hopkins, pastor of the M E Church, after which his body was laid to rest in Richland cemetery.
He leaves to mourn his departure, father, mother, five brothers and two sisters, besides numerous other relatives and friends.
To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life. Rev. 2-7
