Bio
Retired in 2009. Occasionally I get inspired to work on genealogy. My daughter Ashely passed in 2020 so I thought it would be meaningful to add pictures and bios for a permanent record to honor her and all the related deceased.
In order to put the early family graves together I found it is necessary to add memorials for the parents. Often I have had to make the best educated decision from records as to date of death and burial location.
Internet family trees have some of my families all mixed up, thus:
I have added all the children of John Baker b.1762 of Henry Co, Ky and Scott Co, Indiana, who married Catherine WInscott in 1785. I have now included the Elijah Clubb and Drucilla Winscott family of early Henry County, Kentucky. Basically I am specializing in the early Henry County, Kentucky families who mixed with my Bakers. The Criswells of Henry County are pretty much complete too.
Other ancestors: I have found all the children of Hugh Parks Sr of Scott Co, Indiana, Revolutionary War Vet. Nahum Houghton b1732, loyalist family is now complete.
I am working on Isaac Wainscott lines and their children of Henry County, Ky and others who settled Owen County.
