I am the care taker of Shiloh Cemetery in Clayhatchee, Alabama for over
Six years now. Unfortunately records were not kept, but I am in possession of the blue prints with names, from before and after the move from Daleville, which is now Fort Rucker, and the old church records. I have been working hard putting names to unmarked graves and resurveying the cemetery. I know I will never have them all, but I find people every day that take time to help me. We recently honored and dedicated a civil war veteran. His family came in from all over the S.E. United States and Italy. It has been such a joy to help and meet others. I would be happy to take a photo of a grave in Shiloh and send along any other church information that might have been recorded.
I will also be happy to take photos around Dale County, Alabama.
My roots spread from Alabama, Kentucky and South Carolina. I have been actively involved in genealogy for over 25 years. Along the way I have passed on information to a lot of people that I am not related to. I hope to one day have that AH! moment when I find my ggg grandparents grave.
