Bio
Hello! My name is Larry Mooney and I previously lived in (Northern Linn County) LaCygne and (Miami County) Paola, Kansas. I grew up on a farm on the Linn and Miami County line, north of LaCygne, Kansas. In 2017 we moved to Sheridan, Wyoming to be near our daughter and grandkids. I am a retired electrician. I have been interested in genealogy for many years and like to walk cemeteries, taking photos of old headstones. I enjoy looking at these headstones and wondering about the lives of the people they represent. When I walk the cemeteries, I am struck at how many children are interred.
I am researching the surnames: Mooney, Fannan, Hahn, Jennings, DeMastus, Farmer, Zimmerman, Weech, Lundy, Farmer and Marmon.
I am not related to most of the people whose photos I have submitted, unless it is a surname listed in my personal bio, so I will not have additional information. I only have personal knowledge of the family and friends on whose graves I have left a virtual flower. Please contact me if you would like to add a biography to any of the internments I have listed.
You may use my photos for your own personal use, but if for any other reason, please contact me. If you are requesting a photo from a cemetery, it is helpful to have a section number, row number and plot number. Your request will be filled much sooner that way.
If you find any errors or have additional information for any memorial I have posted, please do not hesitate to email me. I will be glad to make corrections/additions...and if it is a family member of yours, I will turn the editing rights over to you so you can do as you wish!
