Funeral services are scheduled Monday at 2pm at the First Methodist Church in Clark for Mrs. Bertha Bell Anderson who died Oct. 18 at a Watertown hospital following a long illness. The Rev. Kenneth Voas will officiate and burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Haugland Funeral Home, Clark, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 19, 1889 to Mr. and Mrs. Layfette Bourn at Springview, Neb. She was married to Ernest Anderson at Cedar Rapids, Neb on Jan. 1, 1914. She had been a resident of the Clark area since 1937 where they farmed in Lincoln Township. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the First Methodist Church and WSCS, the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a past member of the Rebekah Lodge.
