Antonia Johanna Aalders peacefully returned to the arms of her Heavenly Father and eternal companion Willem on January 3, 2011. She was surrounded by her loving family and passed quietly in her sleep.
Born April 1, 1925 in Schiedam, Holland. She immigrated to the States with her spouse and true love Willem and her three children Hendricka, Adriaan, and Willy, while leaving behind her daughter, Tonny.
She brought with her a Dutch heritage the family is proud to have inherited. She led a rich, full life with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Johannes Frenay, and Johanna Donks; siblings Hans, Jan, and Antonius; grandson, Willem Jacob. Survived by her children, Tonny (Hank) VanDerWagt, Adriaan (Anna) Aalders, Hendricka (James) Baker, Willy (Terry) Sipes, John (Beverly), Anna (Kurt) Plomgren, Mike (Melissa), Tim (Lorrie); twenty-two grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Riet.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), with a viewing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the services.
