Milton W. Diepenbrock, 76, Herington, died Monday, Nov. 10, 1997, at the Lutheran Home, Herington.
Mr. Diepenbrock was born Oct. 18,1921, at Hope. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He was shop foreman for Pioneer Service and Sales, a specialist in tractor and farm machinery, retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church,
Glarey R. McClaren American Legion Post 12, Dix-Day and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1281, all of Herington.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann, on Nov. 5, 1997; and a granddaughter.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Profitt of McEwen, Tenn.; two sons, Ronald of San Diego and Robert of Valley Center; two sisters, Clarine Jones of Herington and Elinor Remy of Burdick; a brother, Harold of Herington; five grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington, the Rev. Stan Reinemund officiating. Burial will
be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington, with military rites by Fort
Riley.
