Executed by the State of Texas for the murder of four people.

Co-defendant, Arthur Brown, Jr. executed 9 March 2023TUSCALOOSA | Marion B. "Dud" Dudley, Jr., age 33, of Tuscaloosa, died Jan. 25, 2006, in Huntsville, Texas. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, in the Chapel of Rollins' Mortuary. Rev. William McDowell will officiate with Rollins' Mortuary directing.

Marion leaves to cherish his memories two sons, KeAndrae Leatherwood of Douglasville, Ga., and Rudy Gage of Mobile, Ala.; loving and caring parents, Marion and Shirley Dudley of Tuscaloosa; two very dear sisters, Tamara and Marilyn Dudley of Tuscaloosa; grandmother, Maggie Dudley of Tuscaloosa; three nephews, KeDarius and Kendeldrick Dudley, and DeMarion Dunn, all of Tuscaloosa; special friends, Andrea Leatherwood of Douglasville, Ga. and Paula Cunningham of McDonald, Pa.; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Convicted in the June 1992 murders of three people shot during a drug buy at a Houston residence. Killed were Jose Tovar, Jessica Quinones and Frank Farias. Dudley and two accomplices had gone to the home to buy three kilograms of cocaine when they decided to rob them of their drugs and money. Three other people were also shot by the conspirators, two of which survived head wounds to identify Dudley as one of their attackers.
