Henry Eugene Addleman, 92, of West Memphis, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the Willowbend Nursing Home in Marion, Arkansas. Henry was born on June 25, 1930, in Adrian, Missouri to the late J.B. Addleman and Jessie Belle Oyler. He received his Masters Degree in 1957 from the University of Missouri. He also served our wonderful country with fours years of military service in the U.S. Army. He married his wife of 72 years, Shirley Rose York on February 21, 1950 in Archie, Missouri.

Henry taught Vocational Agriculture briefly (1957) at Dearborn, Missouri High School before moving on to the position of farm manager of River Farms near Bolivar, Missouri. In October 1959, he accepted employment as a sales representative with New Holland Machine Company. During his tenure with New Holland, he and his wife, Shirley resided at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Overland Park, Kansas, and Monroe, Louisiana. He resigned from New Holland in 1971 to join Sprayrite Manufacturing at West Helena becoming Vice President there. In 1982, he became associated with Electrolux Vacuums, but resigned in 1984 to open his own company. As owner and operator of Restore-A-Tub, he subsequently retired in 1999.

Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl Denise Addleman of Millington, Tennessee and LeAnn Addleman Householder of Canton, Georgia; a son, Jerry Mark Addleman of West Memphis; grand daughter, Kacie Addleman Watson (Bert) of Crawfordsville, AR; grandson, Andrew Devin Householder, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; great granddaughter, Claire Marie Watson of Crawfordsville, Arkansas; and a great grandson, Herbert Sherley Watson, V of Crawfordsville, Arkansas.

Services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 2, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church of West Memphis, Arkansas with Rev. Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Pallbearers will be Bert Watson, Drew Householder, Member of the West Memphis Lions Club. The balance of the club will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Memphis Lions Club.
