OBITUARY: PATTY LABOUNTY
Mrs. Patricia "Patty" LaBounty, 47, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 16, 2007.
She was born Sept. 24, 1959 in Fort Worth, the daughter of Billie C. and Barbara A. (Isell) Haggard. Her family lived in Ennis for all of her childhood where she graduated from Ennis High School Class of 1978. Her professional career carried her to Dallas where she worked in the banking industry until her illness. She married George N. LaBounty on Sep 17, 1994 and gave birth to her angel, Roxanne in 1995. She and her family have resided in Ovilla, TX since 2004 where she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Midlothian. Those who knew her, including those from her home town, her work and her many friends and loving family, know that there is an impeccably planned party in heaven right now serving some of Patty's receipes. You'll know her when you see her God, she will be perfectly dressed and everyone will know her as "Friend".
She leaves behind a loving husband, George N. LaBounty of Ovilla; beautiful daughter, Roxanne LaBounty of Ovilla; a step-son and his wife, Sean and Erin LaBounty of New York,NY; a granddaughter, Helena LaBounty of New York, NY; mother and step-father, Barbara and Bryon Rutledge of Mineola; father and step-mother, Bill and Margaret Walls Haggard of Ennis; a sister and her husband, Jana and Michael Jennings of Ovilla; a brother and his wife, Jason and Linda Haggard of Dallas; a step-sister and her husband, Jana and Larry Pannill of Mesquite; nieces and nephews, Justin Prachyl, Kyle Jennings, Jordan Jennings, Carly Haggard and David Pannill, aunts, uncles, and many other family members and friends that loved her dearly. She will be missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church, 1651 S. Midlothian Pkwy, Midlothian, TX. 76065.
Interment will be at 3 p.m. in the Krum Jackson Cemetery in Krum, TX under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Dallas Parkinson Society,3003 LBJ Frwy.#125 E. Dallas, TX 75234.
