Jeannette "Nettie" Boyd married Thomas Smith March 10, 1892, in Burnet Co., Texas. He was a minister, an English immigrant who came to America about 1888. Their first child, Paul Granville Smith, was born in Burnet Co., Texas; the next two sons, T.K. Smith, and Jewel A. Smith, were born at Rockdale, in Milam Co., Texas. The family was residing in McLennan Co., Texas in 1900 and 1910, and then afterward moved to Bourbon Co., Kentucky, where Rev. Smith died in 1912.

Dr. T. K. Smith, pastor of the Christian Church, has gone to Kentucky for the funeral of his mother. Mrs. Jeannette A. Smith.

Mrs. Smith, who would have been 92 years old next month, died at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio, Friday. Burial was in Millersburg, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Smith, and two sons, G. Paul Smith and Jewell A. Smith. Survivors include eight grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren.
