Susan Yvonne Boatwright McVay was born December 20, 1960 in Indiana. She was an amazing person who loved people and animals. She was a friend to all and helped everyone she knew. She loved cooking and made every event remarkable. Even while fighting cancer, Susan's "specialties" were continued requests at special events and gatherings!

A graduate of Vero Beach High School, Susan and her sister Claudia traveled the world with their parents. She loved flying, was an accomplished pianist, became a candidate for the Olympics for swimming, starred in numerous plays and her number one love, dancing, remained a major part of her life to the end! She worked as a finance manager for her uncle, owner of Carroll Fulmer Trucking. Growing up in the military, (father Paul (deceased) retired USAF) Susan has friends and relatives all over the world and her contagious smile, warm heart and kindness will be missed.

She settled down in Orlando Florida where she met and is survived by her husband Andy McVay. Her love of her life was her children, Eric Bass, (wife Dana), and Melissa Ungaro, (husband Chris) and her four grandchildren Elliott, Bass, Chloe and Damon French, Thomas Ungaro. She is also survived by her mother, Inge Boatwright, sister Claudia Mondia (husband Michael), mother-in-law Linda McVay, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Melissa Spiegel and Victor McVay (wife Victoria), nieces, Ashley Moore (husband Eric, Abbey and Christian) Jessie, Victoria and MANY other loving relatives and friends.

After a long battle with cancer, Susan passed away peacefully at her home Thursday June 19, 2008. Everyone who knew her loved her and she was a light to all. We will miss her with all of our hearts.
