Pete grew up to work on the great lakes eventually becoming a captain.One of her oter boys was crushed under a lumber wagon while working as a lumber jack.
Anna had two daughters Viola born in 1899 at Vassar Michigan and Anna born in 1905 at Rose City.
The two girls left Rose City in their early teens to goto Belding Michigan and work in the silkmills of the Belding Brothers . Viola died at 26 in Belding leaving behind tow young children. Anna who was known as Polly to all left Belding moved to Lansing Michigan and live a very long , sometimes very interesting life.
Polly died in Lansing Michiigan at the age of 85.

Anna like so many other pollingtons does not have a headstone. She is buried in the front row at the west end of the cemetary. A Son is buried beside her and has a small home made headstone.
