SARAH L. WILSON (NEE GUIDER) Age 81, of Gary, born February 2, 1922, in Louise, MS to George and Annie Guider. She was the forth of 11 children. She was united in marriage to Port Wilson and came to Gary in 1952. Sarah professed her faith in Christ at an early age. She later reaffirmed that faith by uniting with the Church of the Living God, Temple 31 under the pastorage of Elder Lenzy Davis. She was president of the Benevolent Committee and an active member of the Women's Mission until her health failed. Sarah retired from the Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus after 20 years of service. Her husband, Port Wilson, parents, George and Annie Guider, five sisters, three brothers, and three grandsons preceded her in death. She leaves to rejoice in her homegoing, 8 children: Vera (Wesley) Williams, Benny (Beverly) Guider, Willie (Clara) Guider, Jerry (Annette) Guider, Howard (Marjorie) Wilson, Elaine (Anthony) Rivera, Floyd Wilson, all of Gary, IN, and Shirley (Lonnie) Host, of Muncie, IN; 2 sisters, Ida Mae (J.W.) Broomfield, Rosie Lee Rodgers, both of Weed, CA; 1 uncle, Isaac Guider of Louise, MS; special nephew, J.C. (Mary) Cole of Markham, IL; 21 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2003, 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with family hour 6-8 p.m. at Smith, Bizzell, Warner & Son Funeral Home, 4209 Grant St., Gary. Funeral services will be Friday, September 19, 2003, 11 a.m. at Church of The Living God, Temple 31, 3139 W. 11th Avenue, Gary. Interment immediately following at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Hobart, IN
