He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Freddie was a member of St. Andrew's Masonic Lodge 619 F & AM for sixty four years, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, the Antioch Shrine, the Royal Order of Jesters and a Kentucky Colonel. Freddie was past president of the Springfield Clark County Shrine Club and Director Emeritus of Pote's Little Symphony for twenty five years. He was director of the Freddie Peare Orchestra and Quintet and member of other musical groups. Freddie was a Master Plumber for the George Hauck Co. and retired after forty seven years.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Peare; daughter, Linda (Terry) Anderson of Springfield; son, Rick (Karan) Peare of Clayton, Ohio; brother, Harry Peare of Springfield; three grandchildren, Ryan (Nikki) Anderson, Tara Anderson and Danielle Peare; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Keegan Anderson.
The family was served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where masonic services followed at 6 p.m.
