Peter Coneset, age 78, of Romeoville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, surrounded by his family.

Pete was born on April 24, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Peter and Phyllis (nee Guzzo) Coneset.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Fidelia “Dale” (nee Martoccio), his three children: Phyllis, Peter and John (Colleen); his five grandchildren: Chelsea, Caitlyn, Ciara, Peter and Carina; his brother Nick Coneset; and brother-in-law John (Lee) Martoccio.

Pete was a loving, proud husband, father and “papa” and was cherished by his family and friends. He was the beloved uncle of Joan, Dina and Marianne. Pete was a man of integrity and strength and always had a smile on his face; a true friend who’s handshake was his bond. He enjoyed sports, and most especially football. A player at Austin High School and member of the 1953 championship team; a long-time IHSA referee and always a fan.

Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Anderson Memorial Home (21131 W. Renwick Road) Cresthill, IL on Friday, January 9. Funeral services for Pete will be at St. Dennis Church (1214 S. Hamilton Street) Lockport, IL on Saturday, January 10 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
