Charles Edward Bland, 75, of Paragould, Arkansas, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
Charles was born Feb. 4, 1939, at Monette, Arkansas, to the late James and Dixie Adair Bland. He served in the National Guard.
Charles was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sue Bland; brother, Martin Bland; and sister, Charlene Chase.
Charles is survived by two sons, Charles Gregory "Greg" Bland and Steven Otis "Steve" Bland, both of Paragould; three grand-children, Christopher (Ariel) Bland, Cortney (Dustin) Braaksma and Brittany Bland; great-grand-daughter, Abbey Bland; four brothers, Joe, Bobby, Billy and Jerry; two sisters, Carolyn Mears and Mary Theos.
Memorial services were in Heath Colonial Chapel with burial in Linwood Cemetery.
