Martha Jane Arnold passed away August 24, 2012 at the age of 88 after a lengthy illness. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Martha was full of life and enjoyed every moment and person she met.

She was born in Birmingham, AL on November 7, 1923. After WWII she traveled to Europe where she worked for the American Red Cross. After moving to Orlando she married William Arnold, raised her family and attended Rollins College. In later years, she worked as a counselor at Seminole Community College.

Ema, as she was often called by her family was greatly involved in the Orlando community. She was a member of the Rosalind Club, the Junior League of Orlando and Winter Park and was a member of All Saints Church.

Her family was her priority and loved nothing more than spending her time with her four beloved grandchildren. There were many happy years at Manor Road swimming, skiing, playing tennis and golf with her family and friends. Martha could throw a party like no other and could dance up a storm. She lived life to the fullest and was a warm, loving and most wonderful person. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 56 years, William and son, Scott.
