Kathrynn Faye Gilliam, affectionately called Baby Ya-Ya, peacefully passed away in the arms of her family on December 31, 2012. She was born at 10:48 p.m., and immediately met the eyes of Jesus the same hour.

"Our dearest baby Ya Ya, please know that our greatest blessing was having you. Your name means beloved faith. A Beloved Faith is a gift to even the Greatest Champion. Your big brother, Kendrick (KJ) is that champion. He prayed for you, talked to you and loved you. KJ knows that you are now an angel who lives in Heaven with Jesus and watches over him."

Heaven's gain was our loss when our angel was called Home by our Lord. Kathrynn Faye came into this world briefly and was taken far too soon. She is being greeted in Heaven by her sister, Peaceful Gilliam, and great grandmothers, Catherine Mullins and Lizzie P Gilliam.

Ya-Ya was the precious daughter of Kendrick and Giana Gilliam of Columbia, South Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memory her big brother, KJ (Kendrick Gilliam, Jr.); her paternal grandparents, Rose Marie Gilliam of Cross Anchor, South Carolina and Eldred Bates of Prosperity, South Carolina; maternal grandparents, Fredrick and Regina Edge of Fort Mill, South Carolina; loving uncles, Ray Butler, Jr. and Fredrick Edge, Jr.; caring aunts, Serena Gossett and Whitley Edge; loving great grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Ya-Ya taught us the meaning of true love and steadfast faith during her short time here on earth.
